Apricorn’s next generation of Aegis Secure Drives incorporates all the high-level security features that customers have come to expect, and now includes a patented proprietary NVMe architecture that delivers 256-bit hardware encryption at transfer speeds of up to 1000MB/s. The NVX model is tough enough to go anywhere and smaller than most smartphones, fitting easily into a pocket or briefcase. Available in three storage capacities, the Aegis NVX is Software-Free, 100% hardware-based 256-bit AES XTS encrypted, and features an onboard keypad for PIN authentication with ultra-fast USB 10Gbs data transfer speeds. All data is encrypted on the fly and all PINs and data remain encrypted while the drive is at rest. Moreover, the Aegis NVX is completely cross-platform compatible and OS agnostic, thriving with Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, Symbian, and Chrome. Being software-free, it also thrives in situations where a computer keyboard is not present, such as with embedded systems and equipment possessing a powered USB port and storage file system, but no keyboard. Additional features include separate Admin and User Modes / PINs, Data Recovery PINs, Programable Brute-Force Defense, Provision Lock with Unattended Auto Lock, and an Aircraft Grade 6061 Aluminum Alloy Enclosure.
